Taken from the Italian tradition of The Gran Fondo, "The Great Ride," this event has something for everyone: horseback riding, walking, motorcycling and bicycling. All participants return to Walla Walla Community College to have lunch. Lunch begins at noon. Walla Walla Sweet Onion Sausage will be served. For more information about Walla Walla and places to stay, visit the
Walla Walla Chamber of Commerce.
REGISTRATION: $45 for individuals, $65 for families. Individuals and families who register by Sept. 15 get $5 off the price. Groups of 10 can participate for $250. The registration fee includes one lunch and one beverage for each person. Upon completion of their events, participants will receive a free Gran Fondo wine glass.
Just lunch for me, thanks! If you'd rather just join us for lunch, come on out. Lunch begins at noon and is $6.
100% of net proceeds benefit cancer care and support programs at the Providence St. Mary Regional Cancer Center.
CANCER SURVIVORS participate for half price! As a special recognition of cancer survivors, and the particularly difficult financial struggle that many are facing amid the recession, Providence St. Mary has decided to offer half off the cost of registration (just $22.50!) for cancer survivors in any event. (On the registration sheet, just write "Cancer Survivor." )
