The Gran Fondo

Sept. 27, 2008 at Walla Walla Community College

Taken from the Italian tradition of The Gran Fondo, "The Great Ride," this event has something for everyone: horseback riding, walking and cycling. All participants return to Walla Walla Community College to have lunch where there will be local artisans with their works for sale.  Walla Walla Sweet Onion Sausage is served for lunch. The event also offers a wine tour in downtown Walla Walla. For more information about Walla Walla and places to stay, visit the Walla Walla Chamber of Commerce.

REGISTRATION: $40 for individuals, $60 for families. The registration fee includes one lunch and one beverage.   Upon completion, participants will receive a free Gran Fondo wine glass.

100% of net proceeds benefit cancer care and support programs at the St. Mary Regional Cancer Center.
