About

The Gran Fondo

Sept. 26, 2009 at Walla Walla Community College

Taken from the Italian tradition of The Gran Fondo, "The Great Ride," this event has something for everyone: horseback riding, walking, motorcycling and bicycling. All participants return to Walla Walla Community College to have lunch.  Lunch begins at noon. Walla Walla Sweet Onion Sausage will be served. For more information about Walla Walla and places to stay, visit the Walla Walla Chamber of Commerce.

REGISTRATION: $45 for individuals, $65 for families. Individuals and families  who register by Sept. 15 get $5 off the price. The registration fee includes one lunch and one beverage.  Upon completion of their events, participants will receive a free Gran Fondo wine glass.

Just lunch for me, thanks! If you'd rather just join us for lunch, come on out. Lunch begins at noon, and is $6. (Reminder: If you pay a fee to participate in any of the events, your lunch is included free.)

100% of net proceeds benefit cancer care and support programs at the Providence St. Mary Regional Cancer Center.

CANCER SURVIVORS participate free! As a special recognition of cancer survivors, and the particularly difficult financial struggle that many are facing amid the recession, Providence St. Mary has decided to offer free participation in all events for cancer survivors. (On the registration sheet, just write "Cancer Survivor." Lunch is not included.)
