St. Mary believes that total patient care demands attention to the spiritual, as well as the physical and emotional, needs of each patient. Members of the Chaplaincy staff are available to assist you, whatever your religious preference or spiritual need. The department consists of Roman Catholic and Protestant chaplains who have specialized training for hospital ministry.
Please don’t wait for a chaplain to visit. If you would like to see a chaplain, dial 2207 on your hospital room phone (522-5870 if you are outside of the building) or ask your nurse to call for one. Your priest, minister, rabbi or spiritual advisor is always welcome to visit you while you are here as well.
St. Mary Medical Center’s beautiful chapel is located on Level Two near the Poplar Street entrance. Visitors of all faiths are welcome to visit the chapel for worship services, prayer, and meditation.
